The Goal Is Not Going Viral. The Goal Is Going Medicinal.
The name Chornography™ is intentionally provocative.
It rhymes with a word that has become one of the defining products of the digital age. While pornography may be protected by the First Amendment, I believe Americans should spend more time exercising a different freedom: the freedom to create, build, serve, learn, teach, care for one another, and contribute to our communities.
That is the spirit of Chornography.
Chornography celebrates the beauty, discipline, humor, and dignity found in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Making the bed.
Walking the dog.
Preparing a healthy meal.
Cleaning the kitchen.
Doing the laundry.
Working in the garden.
Helping a Veteran.
Caring for a loved one.
Building a small business.
Checking on a neighbor.
These moments rarely go viral, nor do we want them to.
We want them to go medicinal.
A walk can improve physical health.
A clean home can reduce stress.
A healthy meal can improve energy.
A phone call can prevent loneliness.
A simple act of service can restore hope.
The habits that sustain healthy individuals, families, and communities are rarely glamorous. Yet they are often the most important work we do.
Chornography celebrates the ordinary actions that strengthen physical health, mental wellness, financial stability, personal responsibility, and civic engagement.
The goal is not attention.
The goal is contribution.
The goal is not performance.
The goal is participation.
The goal is not going viral.
The goal is going medicinal.
If a photo, video, story, or conversation inspires someone to take a walk, clean their home, call a friend, volunteer in their community, check on a Veteran, prepare a healthy meal, or simply take one positive step forward, then Chornography has done its job.
Join the Chornography Movement
I invite you to share photos and videos of your favorite Activities of Daily Living on social media.
Show the world the habits that help you thrive.
Show the world that responsibility can be rewarding.
Show the world that service can be joyful.
Show the world that ordinary people are doing extraordinary things every day.

Together, let’s celebrate the work behind the scenes.
Let’s make healthy habits contagious.
Let’s make responsibility aspirational.
Let’s make wellness visible.
Let’s make everyday life worth celebrating.
Because freedom is not merely the absence of restraint.
Freedom is the ability to care for ourselves, care for one another, and build lives of purpose.
And that story deserves to be told.
